First card and I was approved No loans or anything I had zero credit history and I work part time in retail maybe making 8,000 a year and I was approved for an $800 credit limit

Overall the card would seem to be good but I wouldn’t know since I DIDN’T get approved! With a CK score of 714 and FICO TU 681 I was denied for this card however, I was approved for a Discover More  Card!(pulled TU) I truly find this ridiculous! Correct me if im wrong, but isn’t Discover a better bank than Citi?
